Making nero disc image into a DVD

Hi, I have some footage saved onto my PC as a Nero Disc Image. I can watch it in WMP but I want to be able to burn these memories onto DVD so that I we can watch them on regular DVD players.

Can this be done? Does anyone know how?

Guide - see All about DVD Decrypter in my sig. There's a section there (post #8 in that thread) about writing ISOs/NRGs. But in essence, just double click on the ISO and it will begin the burn.

Do give it a go. It is really simple. I never burn a disk any other way and have yet to make a coaster.

edit: I can't get it to burn it as a playable DVD...that I can play in a standard DVD player.

I followed all the steps and it simply burned the nrg file as an image to a DVD disc

Right. We gotta problem. DVD Decrypter burned it OK but it doesn't play. Does the burned disk play in your PC?

How was the NRG made? Was it a package of DVD files (VOBs, IFOs, BUPs) to begin with? Or was it some other media type? In other words, can you please describe what you did to make the image and in fact to before making making it?

I have no idea how I made the image. It was a series of steps that I think I just fluked. I used a shareware version of a program I can't recall to get footage (a bit more than an hour) from a handycam onto my PC. It has been on my PC for over a year.

When I did burn the 'file'/nrg/image to my blank DVD, I could see that is was in fact burnt on there, but my PC would then not auto play it and nor does my DVD player.

I'm not really sure what's what.

So the only file on the DVD is the NRG file, not a package of DVD files.

Sounds like you had an AVI. You may need to unpack the NRG and extract what's in it. Daemon Tools will mount the NRG as a "virtual DVD drive on your hard disk" from which you can see what's in the NRG and copy it into a folder on your hard drive.

So, let's find out exactly what's in this NRG first, OK?
