    Recording Avi's to DVD

    Hey folks, how's everyone doing?

I had a quick question regarding video in avi format. I had some footage in .avi format and I was wondering how I can burn this to DVD video. I usually use DVD decryptor to burn ISO's that I created from DVD Shrink, but DVD shrink doesn't recognize AVI files... so anybody know how I can put an AVI file into DVD video?

    Thanks in advance,

    Kevski

if you want a true dvd you have to convert the avi to a dvd compliant mpeg 1/2. then author the mpeg, and burn as LT stated.

U should be able to input ur avi files into any video editting programs such as ulead videostudio, adobe premiere or pinnacle or something like that and burn them to dvd.

          **cough** Nero

I use Nero, except when I use my video capture card. Those videos I capture with Pinnacle it says do not contain video - nonsense, they play in Windows Media Player! So I use Pinnacle on those and wait the incredibly long time for it to convert.
