Creating IFOs for Flash Demo

I am writing an application in Flash that orders video clips and assembles them. I woud like to write something in .net, php, perl or any language that can run on my server that will take a set of VOB's and write the IFO files for a DVD. I am having trouble finding any information on the way to read and write to an IFO file.

Ideally I would like to create a script that can read an XML file and take that information and form the necessarry files for a DVD.

The idea is to never open authoring software to produce very rudimentary DVD's using a Flash interface.

Would you be willing to consult with me on this?

The program IfoEdit has a special CreateIFOs function which may be of interest.

Thanks for the reply. I have been looking at IFOEdit allot, but I need something that will be able to run in the background of a web application. So the application would have tb be either command line driven or it would have to be written in a server side web language

Any ideas?

Would it be acceptable instead, if your application chose from sets of already written .IFOs and .BUPs? If it would, you could easily create these sets using IFOEdit, based on the various possible VOB combinations

Right. And 2MORO said he's got a set of VOBs. I take this to mean one set of VOBs with identical video and audio formats that you can pick and choose from to make a DVD.

I read it as not just one set of VOBs - otherwise he could create them offline and transform the resultant files into whatever he wants
