Iso Size:4.51(4,731,730) Wont Burn?

I am kinda New at this but i was wondering about iso files sizes and if they can be edited at all....?

I made a backup (My first) of a old scratched copy The Matrix i have(used DVD Shrink) >the file size came out to 4.52 gb. I have been using DVD Decryptor to burn all my iso files but for some reason the error comes up that the iso file is too big for the choosen media(Maxell DVD+R). It then asks if i choose to contiune which i do and after burning the copy works but the major skips and jumps in video, as well and some spots were the video runs slow.

I have tried to backup the crap copy of the dvd again to see if i can shink other files but now it(DVD Shrink) doesnt want to backup the dvd anymore saying media is corupt.

is it possible to edit down some files within the iso?
I have done this with iso backups i have done for pS2 games when I want to change music within the game and such but i have never done this type of editing with a Movie???

is there a FAQ out there to address this problem??...i have been scanning old posts for a could days with no luck.

Yes, you need the ISO file to be 4.35 or below. Use DVD Shrink again to make the files 4.35 GB and it should burn fine.

The ISO is read only. So do a second shrink as drf has sugested. Another useful tool you might like to use is MenuShrink - see link in my signature. This shrinks huge motions menus to tiny stills and allows more space for the movie.

The max size of a DVD-5 is 4482Mb for a +R and 4488 for a -R
