Convert NTSC to PAL worth the hassle?

is it really worth going to all the trouble converting an ntsc movie to pal? my dvd player is region free by the way. i'm just not sure if i should burn it as it's original ntsc format or convert it to pal (will i notice the difference? is it bad?). opinions please

NTSC to PAL conversion is not easily done.Even when done,it very often causes audio to be out of sync.If ur player can play both NTSC & PAL then DO NOT convert.Play them in their original formats.

Region free DVD and PAL/NTSC are two separate issues. please read this article for better understanding.

Btw, if you have a multi-format player (NTSC/PAL), no need to convert, its too much of pain than pleasure that you might get.
