Adding a menu to already made DVD

I just made a disc using DivX2DVD, but it has no menu. Is there an easy way to make a chapter menu? Nero can do it, but completely re-encodes the disc... and TDA is good but the trial expired. NuMenu4U requires Sonic Scenarist which is NOT freeware. How would I go about doing this then?

I tried TitleWriter... it makes the menu, then crashes. The menus look like little circles... I could do better in Paint Is there a way to make a JPG/BMP as a menu?

Trying DVD Styler cuz it is free. I will see how that works out.

Wow, DVD Styler drives me crazy. Took me a while to make a menu, then it gives me errors. I will try that other method.

Hmmm... that other method seems hard. Isn't there a way to make one in Nero? Like... if I add the same video to Nero, and put the chapters anywhere on the movie, as long as there are the same number... Nero makes nice menus that take about 2 seconds to make. All I would have to do then is combine the VTS_01_0 VOB and IFO with the pre-existing DVD (forgetting the one Nero made) and viola, I would have a menu. Would that work, or not?

Try Numenu4u. Keep trying drf. Everything is hard the first time. Then it's a piece of cake.

blutach, NuMenu4u requires Sonic Scenarist... unless I got the wrong one. All I want is a still BMP image as a menu. If I make one in Paint or something, is there a prog that just makes the buttons into actual buttons?
