Multiple Main Movies In Shrink

For the second time I have run into a situation when done shrinking, I end up with smallish main movie and a large unreferenced material, both are already shrunk to the max,
this is in the full-disk mode..

when I switch over to re-author mode, that smallish main movie is now three or more smaller movies and that unreferenced stuff is split into about 60-70 seperate titles,

so both times I had to use full-disk burn with >50% compression, the result has been some skipping, and the loss of sync sound to video for one chapter on the dvd

is there anyway to make movie-only backups with these or is full-disk all there is?

What movie is it? If ARccOS follow the method outlined in How to backup ARccOS DVDs.

If not, get rid of the unreffed crap using VobBlanker.

I'd like to see a screenshot of what you are talking about.

Hitch an Wedding Crashers and I have a feeling that 3.5 gb
of unreferenced material is actually most or all of the movie. but you cannot take just that in full-disk mode.

I wish I was accomplished enough to give you a screenshot
thats why I am doing all the excess explaining.

Sounds like shared titles (Theatrical Version, Unrated Version, Alternate Endings, etc.)in "Full Disc" mode but, all split to single files when your in "Re-author" mode.

Use imageshack - there's actually an FAQ on how to take an post a screenshot.

I'd also bet the movie is in the unreffed material.

Hitch can be done with DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0 IIRC. Certainly, the plugin can do it.

Wedding Crashers seems to be a new one. Can you zip up the IFOs please and post them here as an attachment? Have you tried the plugin on that one?

I backed up "Wedding Crashers" with just DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0 and DVD Shrink 3.2 and/or Nero Recode 2. I never have any of the problems that most people do.

What's the CRC32 of it jmet? Hopefully, we just got some bad pressings and not different versions.

So there is no way of pulling a main movie out of that mess in re-author mode?
in full-disk mode they are absolutely maxed out with the compression, which leaves no room on the end of your burn....they were both kinda successful burns, no room left for error, and some twitchy stuff goin on
(I like to leave 200mb on the end of a burn as a rule)

Drag only title 1 (or which ever title you like the most) into the preview preview window to decide, although some titles are exactly the same except for the last 10 min or so.

But you can't do that with unreffed material. Either the disk is authored very badly (possible - I had to fix up one before for a member) or it's ARccOS (more likely). The wizard/FixVTS should help it.

Let's see those IFOs please.

Way up here in the supposed to be frozen north I believe Crashers had three different angles for the main movie & a whole pile of stuff after about the movie,previews etc.After DvdD took it through FixVts/Shrink & ImgBurn.(FYI).Oh forget to mention just took the main movie title 1 all the other stuff was crap.

Woah, that has gotta be the worst structured disc I have ever seen... none of those Main Movies was very long... what movie was this?

And, what were you trying to do... you can do a Full Disc backup just fine, but did you WANT to do a re-author?

I am pretty sure Hitch can be done with DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0 alone. But try the plugin. Same for Wedding Crashers.
