For 2 months I used Power Producer 2.0 Gold (came with my dvdram) to edit videofiles and burn them on DVD. Worked o.k. till I installed DVDDecrypter and - Shrink (latest versions) as well as DVD43 and the Arcoss-plugin to rip and burn movie-DVD's. No problems with these fine programs but somehow I no longer can open and edit MPEG files with Power Producer (error message & shuts down). Other mediafiles (like WMV) still can be opened and edited.
Anyone familiar with this problem? Possibly a codec-conflict? (for months I use K-Lite codec pack and Storm codec pack without any problems). I'd like to continue using Power Producer because it was free and is easy to use.
