    Combining video from two discs

Is there a simple way of backing up content from two seperate DVDs, combining them to be on one DVD-R?

I want to back up some of my TV show DVD sets. Take, for example, a season of Angel: each disc has four episodes, but I only want to make backups with three on each disc (to avoid too much compression). So, the first disc of the boxset would have one episode left over, which I'd like to combine with the first two episodes of the second disc. Do you see what I mean?

I understand the menus would be lost, that's no bother, I just want the episodes.

Thanks to anyone who can help

(should mention I'm used to making backups with DVD Shrink. I know how to strip a DVD down to just including the film/episodes, but just not how to mix content from two discs)

You might be interested by the DVDShrink plugin for PgcEdit. It has a function to use the title menu button to jump directly to the next title of a DVD reauthored by DVDShrink, and some other similar functions. Easy to do!
