I'm trying to learn how to re-insert the original menus to a movie I re-authored and edited in DVD Shrink and would like to ask that, instead of DVDDecrypter, could I use 1Click DVD copy or DVD Shrink and AnyDVD to create that 'ripped' folder mentioned in the tutorial? Would this create compatibility errors or is it O.K.as long as the movie files are ripped to thehard drive?

Well I want to re-insert the menus to movies I am going to edit using DVD Shrink since Shrink disables the menus functionality if you re-author a movie.
In the tutorials it says to use DVD Decrypter to re-copy the original movie in full and then send it to pgcedit to work on. But I use 1Click DVD Copy and AnyDVD instead of DVD Decrypter, so am asking 'can I use those in place of DVD Decrypter' or is there something about DVD Decrypter that is necessary for the rip of the original to be sent to the pgsedit program.?MBK

The method should be identical in all cases, as long as the original structure of the main movie is preserved by the ripping application (ie, same number of cells, programs and chapters.)
However, I recommand using DVD Shrink, since it's the best tool to reduce the size of a DVD, and it is free. The quality of his compression has not been rivalled yet by any other application, exept, of course, Nero Recode, which is exactly the same program, repackaged and not free.Comment
