    Problem with DVD Audio (Authoring)

    Hi.

I've been an entire week trying to solve a problem: I have a DVD with an out of sync audio, and I separated the audio and the video, to correct the delay and to re-do the authorship. And I run up with the following problem: when watching the VOBs separately the video and the audio remain perfectly synchronized, but when I load the complete title through the IFO, there's a delay of SEVERAL seconds.

For this, I wonder if there will be some way of manipulating the synchronization of the audio from the Ifo (with IfoEdit, or something like that ...). I have tried quite everything, seriously, even creating again the ifos from the vobs... If you know something about this, or have some idea happens to solve my problem, I will be grateful for you to share it.

Thanks for reading. Greetings for all

Audio/video delay is inside the VOBs, not in the IFOs.

But in the ProGram Chain (PGC) inside the IFO can be a cell at the beginning w/o audio, wrongly seamless joined and this can be the reason of your problem..

Load the IFO in pgcDemux and check a/v delay of the PGC and of the first cells of the PGC.. If you find a cell with 0 msec delay and it is not the first one, be sure the cell is not seamless joined (use pgcEdit to do this check)

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, I tried what you say, but it doesn't seem to be the problem... If you think of something else, it would be great to know.

By the way, I am spanish... are you? I ask it because, if so, it would be much easier to communicate in our native language...

      Thanks for answering.
