no audio w/tmpgenc dvd author project

transferred DV to cpu using winDV. then TMPenc to convert to dvd standard, then used dvd author w/menu and chapters etc. but the audio isnt there.

i can't figure it out.

i tried mp2 audio and also PCM audio and still nothing.

any ideas? im new to this dvd authoring process so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

does the converted file after tmpgenc plus have audio? try having a look here and not selecting elementary streams to make it easier for you

After the tmpgenc process, the .mp2 file contains no audio.

The .mpv file is fine because there's video when I play it but the .mp2 file is the right length but has no sound.

i say read the link i gave and try it using the steps there. don't forget to make sure directshow is raised before you encode!
