I am using Nero VisionExpress to transfer some mini DvD's on to DvD5's with menus. What are the opinions on book type? Nero automatically sets it to DvD-R for me but I do have the option of choosing DvD Rom. From a stand alone player compatibility stand point, is -R good enough or should I try the DvD Rom?

On DVD-R, leave it as is. On DVD+R, choose DVD-ROM.
See what's bitsetting in my sig.

Thanks, Blu. I will do some experimenting to see if changing to DvD-Rom improves some minor compatibility problems I have been having with other backed up movies as well as with these little compilations I am doing. I may just worry too much when I transfer and merge home movies for friends. I want to achieve as much compatibility as possible before they erase their mini DvD's. Thanks again you are always a big help.Comment
