where is a good place to find some easy-to-understand info on how dvds are structured. In PGCEdit you're able to create a new DVD from scratch, which is something I'd like to know how to do. However, the user's guide for it assumes you already have a pretty good knowledge of how a dvd works. I just can't keep up with all the acronyms it uses. Any good sites that will give me a basic understanding of how a DVD is structured? I know I won't be authoring my own dvds right away, I just need a place to start building a familiarity with the inner workings of a DVD. Thanks for any info.

Click on DVD Replica in my signature. The other thing you can do is buy either or both of Ralph LaBarge's (DVD Authoring and Production) and Jim Taylor's (DVD Demystified) books.
To create a new DVD in PgcEdit, just go File - New DVD. After that you can import menus and titlesets.

Where does the saying
"Curiosity Killed The Cat"
come from?
If you have a cat, you've likely noticed they are always exploring and getting into things. They are very curious animals. Though the origin of the phrase is uncertain, "curiosity killed the cat" appeared in a book called Schools and Schools by O'Henry, in 1909. It is believed to be a phrase used to teach a moral. For many, the lesson to be learned is to mind your own business and not to go snooping into other people's affairs. A second lesson, however, is to deter young people from asking questions. Much like "children should be seen and not heard," the phrase "curiosity killed the cat" was a common one throughout Europe and North America, in the early 20th century, when it was considered impolite, or a nuisance, for children to make too much noise and be a bother to their parents and other adults.

Right - and yes there is some crossover, but Amazon sold both as a bundle (when I bought them anyway).
