    Compressing Mpeg files?

My wife has several VHS movies that are her favorite and wanted me to back them up onto DVD. Using the WinTv 250 card, I recorded the movie onto HD and used VideoReDo to edit a little, 2hrs and 10mins. I tried to use Movie Factory 4.0 to burn to dvd but it's too long. Same with Imgburn.

What can I use to make this fit/burn on to a Dvd for the wife?

Nero is currnetly not working for me either versions, 6.1.1.10, 6.6.0.18 or 6.6, trying to figure that out.

I tried a search on compressing mpeg files, still new at this.

Use DVD Shrink. It is free, and very good!
