    Replacing DVD Audio (re-authouring?)

A friend of mine does skeleton bob (sliding down icy tracks on a tea tray) and recently returned from a championship event with a home made DVD of the proceedings. He wants to change the soundtrack and has asked me to help him. If the video was in MPEG or AVI format I would know what software to use but I have no experience of directly editing DVD Video (VOB) files. Obviously I could convert the DVD to AVI or MPEG and work from there but this seems to be a time consuming way of doing things and could also result in loss of video quality.

So, is there any software that will let me do a direct stream copy of the DVD video in it's native format whilst removing and replacing the soundtrack...?

Womble MPEG Video Wizard accepts vob directly.U can also rename the vob files to mpg files and edit in Ulead Video Studio.
