VobBlanker + DVD RB

Someone just directed me to use VobBlanker to edit my DVD's the way I like them. I fired it up, cut out the crap, but when I pull it up in DVD-Rebuilder, it says 'run time error 9 ' 'subscript out of range error.' Since I don't know anything about this program, I don't know how to fix it. I've tried it twice and gotten the same things. Any help is appreciated.

Hi EC and welcome to the Forums.

I ran into runtime error #9 in DVDRB when I was first learning how to edit. My understanding of this error is that you most likely have hosed your source with some unwise choices in editing.

Did you cut at an Open GOP? jdobbs warns this is a cause of runtime errors (although it used to be RTE 6 IIRC).

All I did was skip the open warning scene, the studio intro, and the trailers. I wanted the DVD to go directly to the menu screen, but leave in all the menus and extras.

Easiest way to do that is with PgcEdit's Jump to PGC Upon DVD Insert function.

But simply blanking out those things in VobBlanker should be fine. Try unticking "encode menus" and see if that works better.
