EDITING, DUBBING & Untertitling comm. DVD

Hi all, I want to take scenes from a commercial DVD, add music and undertitles and then save it on a dvd or my harddrive. I understand that this is not possible in Windows Moviemaker because it does not do UNDERtitels.

Any suggestion for a cheap solutions ( I am usually not into video editing, this is an emergency and a one off, therefore no huge expenditure for it possible)

    Thanks for your help.

    Welcome to the Forums Lutz!

You can find some excellent app's in the sticky above by blutach, called Essential tools in any author ext... I will draw your attention to two apps. First one is called subtitle creator.
The second one is called BeSweet.

No expense is necessary with either program.

    Good Luck!

      ...and for the scenes?

Greta, thanks for the advice...now the only question that remains to be solved:

After I ripped the CD, how can I cut and edit scenes? I basically want to tak part of the scenes and reassemble them differently, then add a soundtrack and finally add subtitles...

      Thanks again for any help....
