VOB IFO joining

HI, I have recently started videoing using a sony DVD105 using 8cm DVD-RW discs. I have 3 discs of a wedding that I want to burn onto a single 12cm 4.7GB DVD-RW disc. My problem is how to combine the .VOB and IFO files from the 3 discs easily and quickly. My first attempt was to use NERO Express 6 (Software supplied with Camcorder) by adding the .VOB files from each disc (after renaming those that were the same) but as I only added one of the VIDEO_TS.IFO and VIDEO_TS.VOB the only movie section that would play was the .VOB files associated to the related IFO and VOB menu. Is it as simple as changing names of the other 2 sets of VIDEO_TS files or is it more complicated.

Help needed urgently.

It might be that the OEM Nero is to basic to do this but Nero Vision Express can do it. You can even create chapters, titles and menus.

First, a 3 in 1 will drop in quality quite a lot and the missus might not like that.
