VobBlanker and PgcEdit Errors

I ripped a DVD (16 Blocks) with RipIt4Me. Then I wanted to do some editing so I loaded into VobBlanker and this is what I got...





Why do all the PGCs in TitleSet VTS_01_*.VOB say "skip"?

So I exited and loaded into PgcEdit and this is what I got...





Like I said, I used RipIt4Me and this has never happened before.
I thought maybe something was wrong with RipIt4Me so I tried ripping the hard way, once with DVDDecrypter then once with DVDShrink (of course I deleted all files between each rip). And cleaned em up with FixVTS on all separate rips, and went thru the same complete process using IfoEdit.

I've tried everything I can think of, but the same thing happens every time I try to edit. The movie plays fine on both my computer and standalone DVD player, even the one I ripped.

Should I give up on editing this one and just burn it? But that won't help me understand why this happening in case it happens again in the future.

Nothing to help! The rip is perfect.

1. VobBlanker can't process Interleaved material. If you want to get rid of the angles, it's easy. Open the rip in PgcEdit, then open each title PGC in VTS_01 in turn by double clicking on it. Click on Del Angles. OK. Save. Then VobBlanker will load it. NOte: You will need to figure out which angle you wish to keep (usually angle 1).

2. The discrepency in number of streams is an authoring error on the original DVD. Just say yes to PgcEdit's offer to fix it.

Thanx blutach, I'll try that.
I'm still pretty new to the inner workings of DVD movies, so when you talk about stuff like Interleaved material and Angles I'm kinda lost. But I'll get it a little at a time, thanks to people like you and others in this forum.

I didn't make it too far. PgcEdit made me another offer after I accepted the first one "fix number of streams".



I backed out of this one cause it says ONLY if you know what you are doing!

Also, when you said "You will need to figure out which angle you wish to keep (usually angle 1)." where you talking about the Titles? Like don't delete the angles in Title 1?

Also, can I edit out the extras, like the commentaries, by just deleting the entire Title? Or do I have to cut these extras in VobBlanker?

I just keep getting stuck in every step it seems huh.

OMG, hit yes and follow the instructions to remove them from the VOB with VobBlanker.

DVD editing is not for the timid!
