    2 dvds to 1 trouble

    I have been trying to make a best of compilation from some of my tv dvds. What I've done is as follows:

    I used DVD Shrink to reauthor just the parts of the discs i wanted. I ended up with several one-off episode dvds this way.

    Using DVD Shrink again, I re-authored the episodes to fit 2 1-hour episodes on one disc. Together they are 3814 MB-- and no compression is necessary.

    But once I click then "Backup" botton and configure the settings, this is the message I get:

    DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.
    There is not enough space on your target drive!
    I have also tried to set a custom compression to shrink them-- I get the same message not matter what rate I choose.

    I am using DVD Shrink 3.1.-- Any help would be appreciated.

          I have 13 GB free on my HD. oh! yes, that's it. I was trying to save to external HD with just 3GB space... At least, it looks like it is working now. There's no instant error message.

                  Together they are 3814 MB
                  That's roughly 3.8 gigs.....

                  I was trying to save to external HD with just 3GB space...
                  So you will need more space than what your external HD has to offer, stay with the internal HDD.

                      Did you follow LT's advice & get Dvd Shrink 3.2.
