Merging VOB with Mpeg2 or AVI and Back to DVD

    Hello,

I hope I am placing this thread in the right location.

I have a Wedding on DVD which I created. I need to add a small clip ontop of the first VOB file. I have the clip in avi or mpeg2. My question is how do I merge this small clip to the first vob file and then burn back to dvd?
Please note. I don't want to add the clip to the end or the start, its over a particular part of the wedding. Eg. I have put the wrong date on it and want to put a clip with the right date over it. I really don't want to reencode the entire wedding just to fix the date, so I am hoping there is an easier way to fix it.

    Thanks In Advance.

seem to contradict, not sure what you are after. do you wish to actually edit the video, or cut & paste a segment?

IMHO, the easy way for you to do is to encode the.avi clip to MPEG-2 with TMPGEnc Plus and then re-author the entire DVD with that clip on top with TMPGEnc DVD Author. Both tools come with free trials

        Hi Anonymez,
        Thanks for the welcoming!!

OK I knew I wasn't clear. I'll try again. I have a video clip no sound bout 12seconds and I want to add this clip to the DVD over the incorrect date then burn back to dvd. Is this possible without reencoding? Cut, paste and burn in simple terms.

        Thanks again.
