Hi...
To all the gurus out there....
Here is what I did....
I ripped Pink Panther R1 to my HD using Ripit4me (I can't remember which version was used, as I always upgrade when it tells me to do it). 1 Click always gives me good rips... After that, I was going through Shrink and found that it didn't had spanish audio or subtitles.
One friend of mine, got Pink Panther R1-4 in South America that had spanish subtitles on it. I wanted the R1 because it was wide screen and the R4 is full.
By the way, the R4 didn't have the hard copy protection and I ripped with decrypter to the hd. I then used PCGDemux to extract the sup file and keep it.
I demuxed the main R1 movie and tried to add the spanish subtitles to that one. For muxing I used Muxman.
Well, the end movie has the audio and the subs out of sync by almost 1 second ahead of video. I though that maybe the spanish subtitles for being for full screen was the cause of the problem but I muxed all the demuxed original files and the problem was again found.
I opened the R1 ifo file of the movie (VTS 2) after Ripit4me did his work and found in chapter 1, 5 cells being the first four of 00.00.00.18 each one and having a layer break also. Clicking to preview in ifoedit on those cells only shows frames of the sony intro.
I ripped it again and the result were the same...
So the big question is: Why if I demux a movie and muxed it again with the same files I got, the audio and the subtitles are out of sync?. Is because of those small cells?.
Is the first time I try to do it to a movie ripped this way. Before, I didn't had this kind of problem.
Thanks in advanced, and sorry for my poor english. I hope everything is clear enough.
