Vobblanker Help

I printed the "Simplistic Guide to VOBblanker" that I found here on DD. I just want to learn how to use this program. I read the instructions twice and even referred to them while editing The Sentinel. After using VOBblanker I used MenuShrink (not really sure why, but the guide said to) but when I went to DVD Shrink all the stuff I thought I took out with VOBblanker was still there.
Is there a more current or detailed guide around anywhere?
VOBblanker seems like a neat program (a little confussing) that I would like to master. I have read through some of the post and see that some love it and others hate it, I need to find out for myself.
Right now I use RipIt4Me, DVD Decrypter, FixVTS and DVD Shrink.

I used your links and printed out what I think I need I will give it a try later and reply back on my success or lack of.

I just noticed that my Vobblanker screen is not the same as in the "Blanking with Vobblanker" guide. The guide starts with the settings area and shows 2 more options than what I show. I am missing the "Change post into precomm (safely) and "Change post into precomm (Always).
This is mine any idea why they are different?

Don't worry about them. The key thing is to tick Use Input folder (so your changes are made in the folder and you dont have to copy things back in) AND to click on Process on the right for each VTS you wish to operate on. Without doing the latter, it will process the disk by skipping everything.

@blu - Thanks I have printed all the guides, still a little confussed but I will play with the program for awhile and maybe it will come to me.

u mention making sure I press process next to each vts I want to work on! well all the VTS already say process next to them when I load the file. I have been pressing skip on the ones I don't want or blanking the PGC #'s I don't want. Is this right?

Had to take a break and watch Notre Dame beat Stanford 31-10.

I found the problem - it was an "ID Ten T" problem! Had the program in two files with same name one on C: and one on J:.
I kept going to the wrong one.

Cool and yes, you can press skip on the ones you don't want. VobBlanker is extremely powerful and something you can use for many many things, including:

• stripping streams
• cutting at a GOP level
• menu shrinking
• blanking entire titles, parts of titlesets, or just cells

I am the author of those guides, I understand that they are old and version have changed and so have the options of VOBblanker. Will try and update them.
