Why do you want to jump to another VTS? From where?

I used JumpTT, I will see what happens.
And I made sure the PGCs were killed in PgcEdit and it still won't make the VOBs be 0k
Is there a trace function that can see what PGCs are accessing any given PGC so I can blast that one too?CYA Later:

OK, I ran VobBlanker and manually blanked the stuff, appears to be fine.
A couple bugs though, may be caused by the same thing. There is no root menu for the special features in the new VTS3, should I import the VTS1 menu?
The other bug is, the titles seem to loop. That is probably caused by the original titles linking back to the root menu, which is now nonexistant. So it just plays in a circle.
--EDIT--
CRAP! I just messed up my commands, and the backup folder is the really old IFOs from when I first put the DVD on my HD. It somewhat works, but somewhat doesn't.
Blutach, if I upload the new IFOs plus the original ones, can you fix them for me?Last edited by drfsupercenter; 6 Dec 2006, 12:56 PM.CYA Later:

I'll have a look Danny.
What exactly do you want the disk to do? What sequences do you want?
Plus I'll need menu VOBs

I basically want what the originals have.
That one used to go to title 4, the copyright warning (but I can live without that ) and then go to the root menu. Title 4 is now title 12 or something, in VTST 3.
However, I cloned the root menu in VTST3, and now it goes to that root menu. The menu buttons have "play movie" go to title 1 of that vobset, which messes it up as it's blank.
It would probably work fine if I can get the VTST3 menu to loop to the VTST 1 menu, I tried that, but it failed.
And can I menushrink the menu VOB? as it's moving.CYA Later:

Gimme a little time - I'll get back to you.
EDIT: Is there a menu VOB for VTS 2? Please post it (it's hard working in the dark Danny).
What is the 3rd button on the special features menu supposed to do?

Sorry blu if I step in. Seems like drfsupercenter need a step-by-step. I'm going to start from the beginning based on the OLD IFOs. The NEW IFOs look messed up. No need to know the VTS 2 menu vob either.
1. Select File -> Import VTST Titles. Choose VTS_01_0.IFO. Titles 8-11 (VTS3) are duplicated from Titles 1-4 (VTS1).
2. Select Title 11 PGC. Choose from menu toolbar, Domain -> Delete last PGC in domain. This PGC is not needed.
3. Select Title 8 PGC. Ctrl-K (Kill PGC Playback). Say Yes to all prompts. You don't need this either.
4. With any VTS3 PGC selected, choose Menu -> New Menu and say Yes at prompt. This will create a VTSM Root menu PGC. We will fix the pre-command in step 7.
5. With any VMGM PGC selected, right-click and select New dummy PGC and say Yes at prompt. A VMGM PGC 4 is created.
6. Change pre-command NOP to (JumpSS) Jump to VTSM 1, Root menu (TTN 1). (You can just copy this command from VMGM 3 and paste here.)
7. Go back to VTSM 3 Root menu and change the pre-command to (JumpSS) Jump to VMGM PGC 4. This completes the process of going back to the Special Features menu.
8. With any VMGM PGC selected, right-click and select New dummy PGC. Do this twice! You should get VMGM PGC 5 & 6 created.
9. Go to the Special Features menu, VTSM 1 PGC 2, to change the button command for buttons 1 and 2. For button 1, change to (JumpSS) Jump to VMGM PGC 5. For button 2, change to (JumpSS) Jump to VMGM PGC 6.
10. With VMGM PGC 5 selected, change NOP to (JumpTT) Jump to Title 9.
11. With VMGM PGC 6 selected, change NOP to (JumpTT) Jump to Title 10.
12. Now go to Titles 2 and 3 PGC and Kill PGC Playback as you have already copied the titles over to VTS3.
13. For Title 1 PGC, change the Domain stream attributes to 16:9 with Automatic Letterbox checked.
Save the DVD and don't forget to process it with FixVTS or VobBlanker to remove unreferenced cells. I think you can make it "cleaner" by using the Delete Uncalled PGCs function in the latest beta of PgcEdit. This will make steps 2,3,12 unnecessary. I haven't tested the beta so I don't know if it will work.Last edited by spyhawk; 9 Dec 2006, 03:39 PM.Comment

Hi spyhawk and drf
I have done some stuff, but wanted to see VTSM 2 see how the titles in VTS 2 were referenced (but can assume they are from VTSM 2) and how to return from VTSM 2 (but can assume there's a main menu button there).
I have a slightly different way of doing this to spyhawk, which closely mirrors what spyhawk has done (and includes deletion of many useless PGCs). Danny, you can try this:
From your "new" project folder:
1. Delete VTS_03_0.VOB and VIDEO_TS.VOB
2. Substitute ***ALL*** the enclosed IFOs and VTS_01_0.VOB in your "new" project folder.
3. Open in PgcEdit and from the tools menu call FixVTS (current domain). Click on Full DVD.
4. Close FixVTS when finished and return to PgcEdit. Save DVD.
5. Test in software player.

Hey blutach, that VOB was menushrink, any chance you could do whatever you did to the moving one? (It's like 115MB)CYA Later:

OK, I tested it - looks great but a couple bugs.
One, the special features only have "title menu" available, so I can't press "menu" on a settop. Is there a way to make a blank root menu for the vtst3 titleset that jumps to the title menu?
Also, I noticed it skips the copyright warning, did you do that intentionally?CYA Later:

Copyright warning was skipped intentionally.
As to substituting the motion menu for the still one - use goonix's method outlined in a sticky in Doom9 - see here. However, you will need to change the button commands to exactly mirror what I have.
Or VobBlanker may be able to help you by exchanging the cell for a File (in Still mode). I'd just keep it as it is though.
As for authoring a root menu, that is not necessary. Here's a new set of IFOs and the menu VOB, that should take you back to the special features menu after playing a special feature. To be 100% sure of what I'm doing, I'd still like to see VTS 2's menu VOB.

I don't mean returning to the menu, I mean having the "menu" button work, which goes to a root menu. It gives "invalid command" because there is no root menu for the special features.
If I uploaded the 115MB VOB to sendspace could you fix it for me?CYA Later:

Danny, I'm not gunna download and then upload this project for you. Time for you to do something yourself.
As for the root menu, substitute the enclosed for VTS 3's IFO and then proceed as per my previous instructions. But pressing title menu is just as good, since that's all it does anyway.
Danny, YOU need to experiment with this a bit now.
