DVD Editing?

Hello all I hope that this question is being posted in the right place. I have a non copy righted dvd and want to copy just one chapter off this dvd...How do I do this and what free software can i use to do it with? I have Nero Ultra 7 can i do it with this software?

Welcome.
Yes you can do it with Nero. You should be able to do it with any program if it has no copy protection.

I think DVD Shrink in re-author mode is easiest.

Thanks for your advice blutach...I went into dvd shrink and please bare with me i am new to all this but i read a help guide on the reauthoring and it walked me through the process i dont want to back up the whole dvd i just want to copy a chapter off the dvd and then make a dvd from that..can dvd shrink do this??

Go to Re-author mode, drag the wanted title over to the compilation. Click on Set Start/End Frames to bring up a dialog. Now you can select the same chapter number for Start/End Frame selection.
