How to cut and save VOB's with Virtual_Dub_Mod?

    Hi
I registered for his forum because of a problem.
I want to cut .VOB files from a DVD with “Virtual Dub Mod” and then burn a new DVD with NERO.

My actual problem is that I don’t know how to save the edited VOB file with “virtual dub mod”.
So, if you know better software for that task any advice is appreciated but please let me know if it is possible with the software that I use at the moment.

Please excuse me if this should be a topic that was already discussed.
I tried the search function of the forum but didn’t find anything helpful.

    Regards,
    Canuma

@Canuma,VirtualdubMOD can save as .avi,.ogm and .mkv and not VOB(or .mpg).
      Try VideoReDo Plus.

Chopper XP is a nice and free tool for cutting or extracting part of VOB file. Get it from here:

Download Chopper, a tool allowing you to chop MPG, VCDs and VOB files

Thanks so far for the helpful responses.

It's a shame that VirtualDubMod can't save as VOB. Maybe there comes another module for this task after a while.

I tried the freeware of VideoReDo and i have to say that this is exactly what I was looking for.

Can there in VideoReDo a problem occur with the syncronisation of the sound and picture, after there was something cut out? I had that problem in Nero before.

          Regards,
          Canuma

Haven't had any sync problems with ReDo, and I've used it on many and some massive projects so far. VideoReDo is simply fantastic...and fast as well.
