    Want to convert PAL to NTSC, how?

    I am military and live in Japan. I ripped a PAL DVD and want to convert it to NTSC. I am new at this and need to find a program that will do this. Can anyone help me? Thank you!!

    To convert PAL to NTSC with software is a challenge. It can be done using 'After Effects', in which you can change the frame rate 25 to 30, and reduce the picture size. Depending on your system, of course, but even 1 minute of video can take a l-o-n-g time to convert.

          If it is an avi file load into Virtualdub and specify the framerate you want.

          Or use TMPGEnc to create a vcd/dvd/svcd and select the appropriate template.
