    menu with sound?

is it possible to create a menu with sound? (currently, i almost always use dvdstyler for my menus, but have various other applications if something else is necessary.)

Do you mean a still menu with audio?
You can certainly do it with a good authoring program. I like DVD-Lab pro, but it is not free. It's also possible (although not easy) with muxman.

yes, i believe that is exactly what i mean.

so far, i have learned to create menus with a variety of backgrounds, buttons for selection on compilation discs. now i want to create a more professional looking menu that has audio and/or animation.

i am not too concerned about file output size at this point, just being able to accomplish this new task.

I believe NeroVision will do it.

i am currently trying to get this right with dvdstyler, which i think i got as freeware. i did it once and it looked like it worked but i needed dvdshrink (or a program that will do something similar) so i could see what the menu looked like. except dvd shrink doesn't show where the menu buttons are unless there is a text box next to them. (i use the name of the button for my text.)

i haven't figured out how to preview the finished product (moving menu. static menus are easily previewed.) yet in dvdstyler. it just shows up as the file name in the preview window.
