dvd .i00 files to avi...how to deal with dvd menu?

I have a dvd in .i00, .i01, etc file format. I can convert any file but the first one into avi with virtualdubmod. The first .i00 file has a dvd menu with it and virtualdubmod wont recognize the file. The same question goes for dvd .iso's with a menu.

Any way to do this? I'd like to just remove the menu and encode just the video.

Use your original DVD instead.

Why do you want the menu? Menu is not supported in avi(except DivX Media Format,which has very restricted standalone support).
