I have a large avi file that is cut in half I burned to my HD as one file with nero 785 I searched on here and see that dvd remake pro can merge the two together at the end of 1st half screen goes black then second half starts is there freeware that can splice the two together in either avi or dvd to make one continuous movie

Why not cut the black parts out with VobBlanker (after the join) or even Nero Recode before you join them?

I think I got it with nero recode thank you I was lost on vobblanker but if I did it right nero was simpleAsus P5N-E Sli nForce 650i mobo
