quick question about dvd shrink and re-authoring

It seems even with everything but shrink off it takes about an hour...hour 30 minutes for my re-authored dvd to finish is this normal? and also, how if possible can i make it run faster?

just curious

BTW> i am using "analysing"...and "sharp" settings..maybe thats why...hmmm
