I Need An IFO For My VOB

I extracted a preview with VobBlanker and it saved it as a .VOB. I want to insert this preview into another DVD, but PgcEdit wants an .IFO to insert an opening intro.

How do I make an IFO for my VOB?

Redo it, blanking out all the bits you don't want. VobBlanker writes IFO files.

Normally, not having an IFO would be seen as not having the DVD - we can't help if this is the case.

Ok. Maybe this case is lost. I've retried several times and all VobBlanker spits out is a .VOB.

Anyway, ignoring this problem. If I should ever run into a case where I only have a .VOB, is there a prog that will write an .IFO for it (like IfoEdit or something)?

Ok now. Somethings wrong here.

I extracted more cells from VobBlanker and it still only creates a VOB.

I tried making a new IFO in IfoEdit and I get this...



Then IfoEdit crashes.

Another possibility is DVD Shrink in re-author mode. Just select the preview you want and hit backup. You'll end up with a DVD that holds only one title, the preview. You'll have the IFO and the VOB. Then, in PgcEdit, open the DVD that you want the preview in, and select 'File - import VTST titles'. Select the IFO (from Shrink), and PgcEdit will offer you to import the VOB file as well.

Edit: I guess, if the preview is the only title in its VTS, the Shrink step could be skipped, and it could be imported in PgcEdit by selecting it directly in the source DVD.

If the preview is a cell in a PGC, with other cells holding other previews. VobBlanker or PgcEdit could be used to cut it out first.
