Jinjin_jp -- Doesn't the Menu button on your remote do exactly the same thing. if no title menu it jumps to root (which is the switcher)
Whats throwing me is that Pgcedit and I are using different Styles/layouts (He trusts the sprm's -- Given the past I don't) hence gprm(0) is ambiguous I would think

Yes, you are right. It is possible to return menu. I was stupid.
But I forgot to write another which title can' t be skipped when allplay. It is inconvinient.

I don't use "Redo autoring" plugin, because its style is defferent from TW as you say.
I use "Remote buttons" plugin. It doesn't change style of output of DVDSh*, it changes only "Next(or Prev)PGCN link" from 0 to 1. It seems to remain and not affect to TW's processing.
(It must not be done check about Title Menu button because it changes style.)

Ah -- But -- there is no menu in the vts's jinjin_jp is refering to

So basically the menu button (I think) will lead back to vmgm (At least on all my players)

So for titles without vts menu's
if I set a gprm to say 12346 (for ex.) in title pre commands, g0 set to titlenum "MENU" >> will lead back to vmgm
Then trap in the Vmgm title menu if gprm >12345 >> jumping to my vmgm playall (or nexttitle)
resetting my 12346 to 0 or the "play all" setting

Essentially the menu button becomes a next title link for movies without menus
I believe it should work But
(now I just have to decide if its wise -- This essentially loses the menu switcher entirely -- Unless title playback exits normally on non menu vts's)


The very hard part is to fool TW into changing just the pre post commands for titles when an "Enable Remote Menu >> Play next title checkbox is checked in make menu (there are no data connections between the 2 just the ifo's and vobs) -- and no _0.vob is present

And you are right playing with the chapter buttons, next,previous is not really an option

Do you mean that TW's output jump to next title by pushing TitleMenu button in autoplay if no VTS menu?
Is it about hard player? I usualy confirm by soft player before burning. Soft player seems to simply jump to title menu and ignore allpaly.
About IFO command, I think jumping to next title in allplay is done by
allplay is recognized by gprm(1)=12345,
if gprm(0)=0, gprm(1) reset to 0 (it means not allplay)
gprm(0)= reset to 0 on precommand, and set to not"0",
so when directly jump to title menu (don't reflect postcommand), gprm(1) reset to 0.
when using nextbutton-link, it reflects postcommand and not reset gprm(1).

Thats what I propose to change -- think of it this way
in each non menu vts

This following retains the allplay state
pre If(g1==12345) g1=12347 else g1=12346
pre g0=titlenum

post if (g1=12347) g1=12345 else g1=0;
post g0=titlenum
post call vmgm title menu

in VMGM title menu add
change if(g1 >= 12345) goto menu (allplay)

In all play menu pgc add
if(g1=12347)g1=12345
if(g1=12346)g1=0;
...

I'm modifying my playAll logic (most of the necessary commands were already present) for sequential play if Remote "Menu" is pressed On non menued titles
Or Skip to next title if Remote menu button is pressed during play

I understood now what you say is not current feature, sorry.
But if always jumping to next title in all play by title menu button, it is impossible to return to title menu when actually want to return to title menu?

Yes -- In my testing -- you have to let the current movie play out (I'm thinking on it)

I'm not really wild about "perverting" other remote buttons -- Its a cute trick but just feels wrong.

Thanks for v.8.4. I used it and have some question.

It has select button "All to OK" and "OK". What is meaning of "All to OK" ? Does FP exist only one? To where apply for all?
(Isn't it "Cancel" and "OK"?)

It seems not work to what added too many command to FP by PgcEdit(v.8.3).
Doesn't it work when IFO is increased 2KB, even if it has too many command in FP?

"OK to ALL" means that PgcEdit assumes that you answer OK every time the current dialog should normally be displayed during the current session, or during the execution of the current function. This is an option of some dialogs that can be annoying if they are displayed too often.

On the other hand, "Do not display this dialog any more" is permanent, and if you tick it, the default option will always be assumed by PgcEdit (although there is an option to force PgcEdit to display the hidden dialogs again: Options -> User Interface -> Display hidden dialog boxes during current session.)

Yes, the automatic fix for too many commands in the FP-PGC (when the DVD is loaded) works only when there are too many commands in the FP-PGC given the space available in the VMGM_MAT table. Therefore, if you load a DVD that has already been modified and its VMGM_MAT table has been made longer, PgcEdit has no way to discover that there is a problem, and the fix is not applied. However, you can apply the new function of the plugin to fix the problem manually, and recreate the right commands in the VMGM instead of the FP-PGC.

I forgot to say that "OK to All" in the dialog that pops up when there are too many commands in the FP-PGC is there because the same dialog (although with a slightly different message) is displayed also when there are more than 128 commands in any PGC of the DVD. Since some protected DVDs have thousands of commands in hundreds of fake PGCs, this option is really useful! (But I agree that it's not obvious when it is displayed for a DVDS* compilation with too many titles. Anyway, in this case, clicking OK or OK to All has the same effect.)
