I have just created a DVD with WinAVI Video Convert 8.0 without any menu. When I load it into TW, it says "Dvd Contains A Menu" and TW does not allow to add any menu. I have to use "DVD Menus/Remove All Menus From Compilation" first before TW 4.32 allows me to add menu . Attached is the undo files from TW. Thanks for any help.

I read your last post -- It seems an older version of the WinAvi app worked and the newer doesn't
That should be telling you something right off the bat

Well (without looking at your attchment) at a guess something was wrong with your compiliation before TW
After you deleted the Menus --Did TW then allow you to Make A menu >>Add it>>Play it
      If so whats the problem?

After I deleted the Menus, TW allows me to make & add menu. But with the menu I've created before does not work well. At the end of each title it will bring up the chapter menu. With the old WinAVI & TW 2.651, it will continue on the next title and return to title menu.

Sorry, I notice my mistake. It is no need to use PgcEdit before TW.
PgcEdit has "Enable Navigation buttons". It can be used after TW and do what I want and remain TW's Menu.
Even "DVDS* Remote Buttons" can be used after TW, by selecting "Leave it(TW's Menu) there" in processing.

          Regards.

Jinjin_jp -- I'm currently working on ver that will skip to next/last (while in non menued Vts's) title via remote chapter buttons --

Removed the Menu link to next title.
It worked -- but not "elegant" -- Still don't think much of rewiring Title button to next title. so probably won't do that

I can't see how PgcEdits calls could work reliably (I assume he's doing things in different VMGM pgc's). Especially in mixed compiliations (with some titles having menus, or some titles having original menus (you have 2 different navigation schemes going at once --TW's internal menu GPRMS arent being updated))

            Castros
But with the menu I've created before does not work well.
Do you mean the menu TW just made (In Make Menu)
Or another menu you have created prior to this.

If old menu try Happyfacing it

                  Thanks for TestBed6_28.

I think Next PGCN link is ignored since post-commands of TTN are executed before Next PGCN link.

                  See the discussion from #314.

Unless NextPGCN the same PGC number in a one-seq title.

I mean the old menus that I've used for over a year. The HappyFace can fix it by going through one title at a time. But still it does not work like before. At the end of each title it will jump back to the title menu instead of continue on the next title.

Just another thing to note with latest TW & WinAVI, after removing all menu and then go to Make Menu, when click on "Create Menu & Add It" TW will crash.

Castros -- look at your PM

Heres a fair test of where your problem lies
Take the output from winavi >>(Reauthor)Squish it>> It Tw then preforms correctly the problem is in winavi (I'll glance at the files -- But I can't fix everything)

Is the old menu one of my old "generic" menus or one you came up with
If one you came up with try removing "GENERIC" from provider code

The old menus is the one I created over a year ago. Same problem when using your generic menus

                            Castros -- Undo_0 -- What a convoluted mess --
I gave up trying to figure out that navigation -- umpteen gprms being set and unset to no purpose. Calls to menus that don't exist (Those are the ones giving you problems -- after menu addition the menus do exist). Just plain ugly.
But the basic title structure content seemed sound.
The only way TW can handle is to reauthor "Squish" it. There are just to many weird things to deal with. And to many just plain mistakes -- none actually fatal -- but sloppy.

It almost looks like a navigation schema for a dvd with menus actually present --almost

                              Thanks for TestBed6_29.

I still hesitate to use the new function "Remote Chapter Button Support" of TestBed6_29.
When the DVD compilation created with this new function is opened in VobBlanker 2.1.3.0, VobBlanker reports:
-- The following PGCs are marked as one_seq but they do not meet the reqirements to be one_seq...
