video editor with reverse rendering

can anyone suggest some small in size video editor with rendering the clip going in reverse ?

Most NLE programs can reverse a clip. For a free tool, you can use Avisynth with Reverse filter. Just add Reverse() to its script

Please can u tell me what NLE stands for? I tried to install avisynth once, but
was to stupid to work out how to get it to run because there was no executible
file with it.

Some good to have NLE programs are Ulead VideoStudio, Sony Vegas,...

With AviSynth, you need to open notepad and create and try a simple script, for example, like this:

AviSource("D:\MyVideoFolder\MyVideoFile.avi")
Reverse()

And then save it as a file with .avs extension. Just open it with Virtualdub, Media Player Classic, HC Encoder, MeGUI,... or whatever programs and see the result
