    directions for backing dvds...

    Hello:

    I am trying to successfully back up my dvds. I have been following several directions from the websites of doom9.org and afterdawn.com. I can't seem to find directions that work. I seem to be going in circles.

    Does anyone know of where I may find directions (that work!) that are easy to follow? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

    The link above has detailed directions and pictures.
    There is a HOW TO GUIDE.
    Click on each of the blue links there and print the pages. Click also on
    links within links if necessary and print.

    I have tried SmartRipper, IfoEdit etc. based on the directions;
    they do work.

      Thank you for the link. I tried to backup my dvds last night based on directions from Fluke 281 and became very frustrated. The IfoEdit didn't work. It kept saying "1 of 3 streams works. Do you still want to continue." When I pressed Yes the IfoEdit shut down. Very frustrating. I will try again with these directions. Thank you. I'll let you know how it turned out.

        Try this site. If this doesn't work for you, backing up DVD's isn't for you.

          Thank you. I have had success. I have one question, since Spruce Up is no longer sold. Which would you recommend as a replacement: Sonic MyDvd, Sonic Dvdit, or DVDMaestro. Which is friendlier. I have to tell you Spruce Up was very easy to use. Are any of the above as easy as Spruce Up.

          Please let me know. Thank you.

            SpruceUp is available. Just search the web for it and you'll find is pretty easily.
