    Creating a DVD of Trailers

I need a little advice on what programs to use to make a custom DVD of movie trailers. I can use either Mac or PC to do the work on.

    Here's what I need:
    16x9 widescreen
    DTS audio
    Dolby Digital audio
    My own menu's
Maintain a high bitrate for the audio
    Minimize compression on the video

Right now i have some discs with .vob files on them but I need to know what programs I need to be able to put this together with my own menus and such.

    THANKS!!

You can do pretty much all of the above, except for the DTS audio, with TMPGEnc DVD Author. ConvertXtoDVD does support DTS I think, but you will only get a really simply menu. Forget about Nero Vision. I've written guides for both, so you might want to check them out just to see what their interface is like:

    TMPGEnc DVD Author Guide: http://www.digital-digest.com/articl...ide_page1.html

    ConvertXtoDVD guide: http://www.digital-digest.com/articl...DVD_page1.html

If you want to do all of the things you listed, then I think you'll have to look into Vegas+DVD 7 or DVD-Lab.

They are all shareware/commercial tools unfortunately, but trial/demo versions might be available for you to play with before you buy.
