Removing Fullscreen Title

Hi,

I have VOBs of a DVD that includes both widescreen and fullscreen versions. Obviously it's dual layer, and trying to shrink such a disc just kills the quality. Since I only want the widescreen track, I thought I'd use VobBlanker or similar on the fullscreen track.

However, how do I change the menus so regardless whether I click on widescreen or fullscreen, it goes to title 1? I tried this with Men In Black and it caused the DVD to crash when clicking on fullscreen.

You need to change the button command that selects fullscreen to match exactly that of widescreen. Do this is PgcEdit's Menu Editor (copy and paste is allowed).

Or by pass the widescreen/fullscreen menu entirely. Do this via Kill Playback in PgcEdit (selecting the widescreen button when asked).

So basically, I make it so when you click Play Movie it goes right to title 1 and not the widescreen/fullscreen menu?

If I just kill the menu, will it know to jump to title 1 or will I have to change it?

If you kill playback on the menu, it will select WS and then proceed on the navigation as if you have pressed the widescreen button. Try a trace to see.

I tried killing playback on that menu, it warned me about something with menu buttons... and it still shows the menu. Why is that happening?

It appears to be part of the main menu... if I upload a menu VOB can you look at it?
