Which tool to copy DVD and re-author DVD's ?

I was using DVD shrink in the past to backup and re-author my DVD's, and DVD Fab to just copy the DVD contents on my PC.

I know about the "new" forum rules, and do not want to go into ripping discussion, but I'm looking for buying a backup software, and I'm currently interested by buying the DVD Fab Platinium.

I do not have so much background as you have, but would like to know if this is a good product or if there is any other interesting product ?

There are many great freeware and payware products to enable you to edit and author your DVDs. Look in the sticky.

Talk about DVD authoring and editing, including support tools such as PgcEdit, MenuShrink...

Personally, I use a combo of PgcEdit, VobBlanker, DVD Remake Pro, IfoEdit and re-encode with DVD Rebuilder.
