Greek Subtitles

I am English but I live in Greece, no problem for me to watch movies and can find the Greek subtitles for my friends but only if we watch on my PC is there an easy way to add subtitles and burn to DVD? there is a millon posts on here for adding subs to a movie on your computer but can't find one that is any use if you want to burn to DVD to play on a standalone, Pefect for me would be to add subs embedded to an avi file (lived here long enough to ignore the subs at the bottom) Subs I normally find are in SRT format. Thanks if you can advise

Easily done with VirtualdubMPEG2 or AVIDemux.

Assuming it is a DVD and not an AVI, demux with PgcDemux and remux with Muxman. Don't forget to add the chapter points.

Also try VSo's ConvertXToDVD very good for adding .srt + gives u positioning & editing options
