    Disabling Fullscreen Title

This problem is similar to one I had before.

Blutach suggested that I use PgcEdit to blank the VOB of the widescreen/fullscreen selection screen... and the problem is, in both movies that have this, it's the normal menu VOB. As in, the root menu and the selection menu are both cells in the same VOB.

So if I blank that, I lose ALL menus.

I tried VobBlanker and blanked just that cell. In the one movie, it just turns black and crashes, the other says "Got SEAMLESS?" indefinately. Does anyone know why? I'm trying to blank the fullscreen title, and don't want that menu there. I would just blank the fullscreen title, but my sisters are big fullscreen movie fans, and if they try to click fullscreen, the DVD will crash.

    Any ideas?

You should not blank the whole menu domain, but kill playback of the PGCs you want to skip.

VobBlanker cannot blank the menu cells with buttons, as it does not patch the navigation so that a default button is executed. Hence the problems you got.

How do you kill the playback of just one menu?

It's all in the same VOB... and thus all in the same PGC in PgcEdit... all I see command wise is like 20 random lines about setting values. If you press "see menu buttons", you have to press the arrow to change the cell or whatever.

The fact that all menus are in the same VOB doesn't mean that all menus are in the same PGC, although it's theoretically possible. But I have never seen that!

So, if you can select a PGC in the left pane with only the menu you want to skip, use the PGC -> Kill PGC Playback function on that PGC. To regain the disc space, use VobBlanker or Fix.

In the other hand, if all menus are in different cells of the same PGC you should see all menus when you preview that PGC. In that case, you cannot use Kill Playback. You should open the PGC in the menu viewer, then select the cell to skip with the topmost dropdown menu, open the editor on that menu, and in the editor open the "advanced settings" pane by ticking the "advanced" checkbox in the lower left corner. Set the default selection and auto-activation buttons to the number of the button you want to use, and finally change the number of seconds to 1 (or 0.1 if you wish, but 0 is dangerous.) The menu will still be displayed, but the button will be activated automatically after that short delay. You cannot regain the disc space with this method, of course, as the menu is still needed.

From what I can see, they are all the same PGC. PGC 5. This particular selection menu says "PGC 5, PG 5, Cell 5". The root menu is "PGC 5, PG 2, Cell 2".

I'll try the advanced thing... but as I realized the first time, kill PGC playback won't do it.
