There's been lots of changes since the last time I was here, no? (about a year) Well, I trust the extensive knowledge that you guys have displayed in the past, so thought I'd try my question here, it regards home video that I recorded years ago with an 8mm camcorder. These were downloaded via a video capture card to my computer, then the program that came with the card, Cyberlink's Power Producer 2 Gold was used to generate DVDs. It was cheap, but worked for what I wanted at the time.
Now I'd like to make new copies of the material that is on the DVDs, but redistribute it, cut and/or paste as desired to set up new orders of video play, etc. Also would like to generate at least rudimentary menus, and make selections therefrom. Doesn't seem like anything I have now will do that. Please advise what programs I should be investigating. I'd consider freeware or paying for something that is good. Thanks a bunch.
