Joining two .AVI files and burning to disc

Hi.

I have a film in two halves, both .AVI files.

I would like to put this onto a DVD - both halves together as it were, back as one again - so that when I stick the movie into my DVD player and press play it runs from start to finish with no noticeable gap.

Could you please advise what software do I need to so this?

I currently have Magic Video Converter, Convert X to DVD, ImgBurn, DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink.

I have a feeling the software I already have is capable of doing this, but I can't work out how.
