Hey all...
I used to be able to rip certain scenes from my DVDs using DVD SHRINK (freeware) about a month or so ago, but then I got a new computer and re-installed it there, but when I "rip" scenes now (i.e. "re-author"), and they are saved as .VOB files (which is what they were saved as before) and I changed the extension to .MPG, the files no longer play on WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER.
Actually, I just noticed that the file in question is saved as a VOB file, but there is NO extension. I just add the .mpg extension, and yet it still says VOB under FILE TYPE. When I double-click on the file, Windows Media Player opens up, but nothing plays and it says UNKNOWN DVD.
Any feedback would be appreciated!
