Paging file too small?

Paging file too small?

Hello everybody, This is my first post on this forum. I have a problem on which somebody could perhaps shed some light.

While using a popular DVD shrinking and backup software (v 3.2), and I received this error:

"...has encountered an error and cannot continue.
Out of Memory.
The paging file is too small for this operation to complete."

I know I have enough hard drive space. What is a paging file? Does anybody have any suggestions on how to adjust settings?
