...or authoring a new one?
My issue is regarding a DVD (copy, not original) that skips and freezes. I was able to resolve most of the skipping problems by cleaning the disk itself of debris and smudges. What remains is still a bad copy to some extent.
My question is...is there some way to repair what remains of this video by editing or re-authoring so that I can play it on a newly created DVD without interruption?
I believe the issue is in the .vob file(s) now. I can create them for the entire disk using DVDShrink, but upon my attempt to burn to a new DVD, the results is just another bad DVD which skips/freezes in the same place.
If I edit the movie and copy everything up to the first skip, then edit out that part and continue with what remains which doesn't skip, will I then be able to create a DVD that plays through without issue? Any idea how I can do this? Thanks in advance!
