    vob > 1gb how?

hi, I'd like know if it is possible have in VIDEO_TS folder a file vob bigger than 1GB and watch correctly the dvd in a dvd player.
with vobmerge I made a vob of 3gb, after I deleted all files bup and ifo in the dvd folder, after I recreated the ifo with ifoedit but when I try to watch the dvd in a dvd player i have an error, it says dvd can't be watched correctly

I need a dvd with file bigger than 1 gb because in this way I have only a file vob and after burned it I can scratch the surface of the dvd so it is protected from copy and after is impossible copy the file on a pc but it can be watched correctly in a dvd player because I add a blank file at the end of vob.

Now it works, but if I have more than 1 file vob in the dvd folder; with this trick I can protect only the ultimate file vob in the folder VIDEO_TS

sorry for my bad english and ty for the replyies

The VOB files must be less than 1GB. (BTW, exactly 1GB is already illegal.) You cannot avoid that limitation.

Anyway, I don't understand your method. You cannot simply add a dummy file et the end of the last VOB, as the IFOs will not reference it, and therefore the rippers will be able to detect that that part of the VOB is useless, and will not try to copy it.
