DVD burns to too many files

I have recently used DVDShrink to rip a (2 hour ) film on DVD to hard disk, however the software has ripped it into four 30 minute files instead of one 2 hour file, which is a pain. What am I doing wrong ? I do not wish to burn the film to another DVD, just want to copy it to hard drive (in ONE file) Can anyone help ?

It's correct. By definition, a VOB file MUST be less than 1GB. So, on a DVD, you have always several VOBs that are in fact the different parts of a single big video file.
You should use a program that does what you want. I suggest using MakeMKV, to convert your movie to a self-contained MKV file.
Anyway, take in mind that we cannot give advices on how to copy or rip a DVD. See the last rule of this board.
