    mpeg-1 to dvd

i have a lot of mpeg's (about 1200mb each) that were made with dvdx. is there any way to convert them to something i can burn to dvd blanks to play on standalone players?

    MPEG-1 to DVD

You should be able to open the MPEG-1 video in any of the authoring programs like Ulead Video Studio or the one that came with your hardware. There should be a place where you can specify what format your finished movie will be. The program will need to render the new file, which is a lengthy process.

I haven't tried this myself, so maybe somebody can correct me if I'm speaking out of turn here. Maybe there is a problem converting resolution like that since you're increasing the size of the video.

If you have the authoring software already, it wouldn't hurt to just try it.
    Cheers!
